Interview With The Bride & Groom
Morning Of
Chee: I was anxious and pretty nervous the morning of the wedding. It was only 8 am when I woke up and I knew it would be a long day. Most importantly, it was a cloudy morning in Santa Monica, so I was praying that it’d be sunny by the time of our ceremony and reception.
Phil: I was so excited to get the day going! My back was hurting from a long flight from Hong Kong to LA, so I decided to hit a spa/sauna with a friend of mine who came to the wedding.
First Look
Chee: I was so excited to see Phil in his tux. He was so happy as a clam as he usually is, and it was nice to be reunited after the long morning getting ready!
Phil: Chee looked so beautiful in her wedding dress. She was so nervous it wouldn’t fit right, but it looked absolutely perfect on her!
Favorite Moment of The Day
Chee: I loved taking photos on the beach at Nobu right after the ceremony during the cocktail hour. I loved walking on the beach with the beautiful sunset and our wedding party. It was even more memorable because most of the wedding guests were able to see us from the deck above.
Phil: My favorite part of the wedding was 1) Chee walking down the aisle with her mom, and 2) the after-party. Somehow I lost my shirt and was shirt-less during part of the after-party, so you know it was a fun night 🙂 I will always remember our wedding day & after-party!
