The Oliveria family had a whimsical spring photo session at Elk Rock Island, and I was so happy to be the Lake Oswego family photographer to take their photos. Erin & Jeff’s Malibu wedding was a beautiful example of a sunset beach wedding. Their day was full of laughter and romance, and everyone had a wonderful time. Any wedding with beach access is going to be dreamy and wonderful, but this one was made especially timeless by the intimate setting of the Malibu West Beach Club and the gorgeous views of the Santa Monica Mountains.

Weddings have come a long way over the years. And the Wedding First Look appears to be a fairly new development. There are tons of things to consider when planning a wedding, and so many decisions to make. Some people need to follow certain cultural traditions, while others are happy to make things up as they go along. As long-time wedding photographers, we have seen a lot of different types of weddings, and love how all of the little details give your wedding that personal feel.

This winter has been a slow reset and a warm welcoming of new life.
What a beautiful session this was, learning about all the sentiment that went into preparing for this little one and his newborn session. From these two naming him in reference to Haroula`s mother`s name to pulling in gentle tones that call to their wedding day. It was truly a magical experience creating all the connection through their session.
I feel truly lucky and overwhelmed with gratitude that I get to be present in these moments for clients who I now consider friends. I have no more words. 🥰
