FROM THE BRIDE:

Our wedding day was filled with joy and love. Everyone came together to celebrate our union in marriage and it couldn’t have been more beautiful and perfect. We both have lived through a lot and waited a long time to find each other and when we did, we knew that our lives would change forever. What made our wedding day especially wonderful was to be surrounded by the love and energy of all of our friends and family. The tone was infectious—it really didn’t even matter where we were, what the decor or dress looked like or the fact it was extremely hot and humid…people had smiles on their faces. laughter was in the air and love abounded. St Bedes Catholic church was a powerful and serene place to exchange our vows and surrounded us with the holy spirit in all its grandeur. The Athenaeum, where we celebrated our reception on the campus of Cal Tech, could not have been more beautiful with its luscious grounds and architectural details. The settings were both perfect and special in their own way and a reflection of each other and our marriage. We couldn’t have asked for a more incredible day!

Our favorite moment from our wedding day…

was listening to the Ave Maria as we walked over to give flowers to Mary at the church and say our first prayers together as husband and wife. Our most special moment was when our daughter Talie (who was also one of our maids of honor) gave the most eloquent and meaningful, heartwarming speech and toast to us at the reception.

We were inspired to create a timeless and classic feel…

to our wedding and decor that would reflect our taste and personal style. Having the reception at the Athenaeum with it’s beautiful architecture and history was the special element that really brought everything together.

My best advice to any bride would be..

don’t overthink every detail or feel pressure to go over the top. Stay true to yourself and what feels right to you as a couple. This day is about coming together in marriage–not the production of a wedding.
