The Couple: Bennett & Des
Bennett and Des are incredibly kind and thoughtful people we love working with. Bennett is extroverted and witty while Des is more quiet and thoughtful. The two of them are incredibly sweet and their vibe together is gentle. The thing with them is that when they are mellow they are mellow but when they are vibrant they go full-throttle.
We have been blessed to work with Bennett and Des several times. They featured in a styled shoot that we had published on Green Wedding shoes, and we also photographed their engagement session at the San Clemente Pier, right below Casa Romantica! They really are a dream to work with and we wish them so much love and beauty in their marriage.
Their wedding photos displayed both sides of this dynamic couple. From touching romantic portraits to an elegant dip with a kiss at the end of the night, this Casa Romantica wedding was a dream come true.
Casa Romantica Wedding Photos
The Venue: Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens
Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens is a historic home on a cliff in San Clemente. The center is known for hosting many different cultural events, including concerts, lecture series, and children’s camps. In my industry, many people know Casa Romantica as a premier Orange County Wedding Venue. Right on the border of San Diego, and Overlooking the San Clemente Pier, Casa Romantica is an unforgettably romantic place to get married.
San Clemente Casa Romantica Landslide
One of our favorite features of Casa Romantica is the cliffside view of the Pacific ocean and the San Clemente Pier. Unfortunately, in April of 2023 Casa Romantica suffered a devastating landslide that took out much of the bluff that the venue sits on, as well as left large cracks on the property itself. Weddings had to be canceled or rescheduled, and work began to fix the cliffs and the historic building.
As of May 2024, while they are not currently using the entire grounds for weddings, much of the building is open again, and construction is underway to make the venue better than ever!
Casa Romantica Wedding Cost
As of May 2024 the venue is open again and booking weddings and they are currently running a discount! Saturdays are usually $8600 but they are currently booking for $5500, while Fridays and Sundays are booking for $4750, down from $7350. We recommend that all brides and grooms consider taking this chance to book a dream wedding venue at a really great price.
