FROM THE BRIDE & GROOM // We both agree that our wedding day was the happiest day of our lives…so far. The way everything came together, both with our vendors and with guests, made the entire experience feel like something out of a movie. Speaking of which we’d like to thank all of our vendors for their professionalism and hard work that allowed our wedding to be the day we hoped it would. In particular, Erin (our Maravilla coordinator) did such a fantastic job making sure that everything went smoothly and helped make everyone in the wedding party feel comfortable. In retrospect there isn’t anything that Jessica or I would have changed, the entire day was a giant blur of emotions and fun that went by all too quickly. It’s a day that we will both remember for as long as we live and we look forward to cherishing that wonderful day every May 21st ☺

Our absolute favorite moment from our wedding day was when we were pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Hall. All of the pressure and stress from planning the wedding had been building up and finally, as I (Jessica) began to walk down the aisle, it all seemed to melt away and disappear. From that moment on, nothing else mattered but the fact that we were now complete and everyone that we loved and cared about was there to celebrate us and our moment.

The inspiration for all the shabby chic, rustic décor and wedding style came from us wanting our wedding to feel natural and welcoming. We wanted something that felt like you were hanging out at a neighbors backyard party but also elegant enough so that you knew you were there celebrating something really special. Having the wedding entirely outside, surrounded by wildflowers and beautiful views of the fields below, was the major aspect of our venue that tied the whole concept together. From the rustic burlap to the crystal chandelier, and giant lit LOVE marquee sign, it all felt like one big joyous celebration that you didn’t ever want to end.

 The best part about planning the wedding is experiencing it all come together. In the beginning you’re not so sure about how to make all those tough decisions, no matter how big or small they may be, it all seems so daunting. When you near the end, it all of sudden starts to become real and you can see it all fall into place.

I absolutely have some advice for any future brides… Even though everyone tells you this over and over again, try not to stress so much! In the end nothing matters but the fact that you are now married to your best friend and worrying over all the little details seemed so silly. But if you know that you are a chronic worrier and not stressing is just isn’t an option, I would highly consider investing in a wedding planner. They know what they’re doing, and it will take away so much of that stress you would normally have if you planned it all yourself.
