It’s impossible to describe your wedding day with just a few words, resorting to magical, wonderful, everything I’ve ever wanted isn’t good enough. Leading up to the day, we thought it would never come, waking up on the morning of the wedding anxiety sets in. “OMG” is my initial thought, I am going from Miss to Mrs. this is real! Yeah that really happens. I thought about it and it sunk in, why am I freaking out? I am so ready, it’s about time! Most of the pampering, wardrobe, hair, make up all went by too fast. The next thing I remember is having to surprise my husband and unveil what I look like to him for our first look. The seconds leading up to this was an over whelming feeling of nervousness and excitement. All those feelings went away the moment he looked at me and smiled, at that moment I knew that tonight was going to be the best night of my life. From walking down the isle, saying Ido, our first dance and enjoying the night with our closest friends and family amounts to nothing compared to that moment there. A lot of people say the night is a blur, not to me….I remember everything from that moment on. I will forever play that day in my head, the day I said I do.
What was your favorite moment from your wedding day? Did you have any special moments/story with friends or family that stand out to you?
From the Bride – one of my favorite moments of the night was honoring all veterans that joined us on our special day. I had Handmade “America” signs with a little toy soilder an a note on the back, thanking them for their services.
From the Groom – Hands down the best moment of the entire night was being introduced as husband and wife In front all of our guests, Immediately afterwards we danced our first song. The song we had chosen was “Perfect”- By End Sheeran. We never discussed when to turn the music off, instead of dancing for roughly a minute as we planned, we danced for the entire length of the song 4 minutes & 20 seconds. As we both gasped and realized how long the song was, we became nervous..this turned out to be the best part of my night. Four minutes of you, me dancing alone under the stars.
What inspired you while planning your wedding & decor? Was there any special element that made your decor come together for you, personally?
From the Bride: I’ve always wanted an outdoor wedding, something about candles and simplicity was always in my mind. Having candlelights and the night stars is something I always dreamed of, Plus Pinterest doesn’t hurt.
From the Groom: I said “Yes dear” a lot. My strategy worked out great
Do you have any advice for brides/grooms who are currently planning their weddings?
From the Bride: Do not stress over the little things, when the big day comes you won’t even recall them. Be in the moment, be glad you have Tiffani there, she really makes a big difference.
From the Groom: Say ” Yes Dear” a lot, it works out fine. Don’t forget to laugh, smile and dance. Drink Plenty of Booze….to keep you warm.
