We are both so excited and can’t wait to finally meet our son in a few weeks! We always knew that we wanted to grow our family one day, so we actively made decisions throughout the years to prepare our “home” for that future. Little did we know that getting pregnant was not going to be easy for us. But after a few years of trying and many early morning drives for doctor’s appointments, we were finally pregnant! I will never forget that early summer morning when we finally got that positive test. I was so jaded and in disbelief that I ended up taking 3 more tests just to confirm I wasn’t crazy! We’ve been so blessed with all the support from family and friends around us throughout our lives and during the pregnancy. Our son is so loved and he’s not even here yet! Thank you Sun & Sparrow for helping us capture this precious moment in our lives! We can’t wait to meet the little guy!

Nigel and I had been praying for our future kids long before we knew we were ready. Our pregnancy journey went through a little rough patch at first but it made us closer together and stronger in our faith. We were definitely ready to be parents. So after an amazing 3 years of marriage filled with adventure, love, laughter and growing stronger together, that perfect time came.
There’s nothing like finding out you are carrying a little life inside of you. I remember leaving the doctor’s office with a heart full of love and my love has now grown even more. I wasn’t as fearful as I thought I’d be, even after being subjected to a plethora of old wive’s tales from well-meaning coworkers, acquaintances and loved ones and reading equally worrying and often contradictory advice online regarding pregnancy. In fact, I felt an active and reassuring peace that I know was from God. I left it to God to guide me; I wasn’t stressed out because I knew God was looking out for my baby and I I was able to embrace this new and miraculous process every step of the way. I had a new outlook on life’s challenges and my priorities almost immediately: any problems or difficulties Nigel and I were facing became of no consequence as long as our little boy was growing healthy. I’ve been diligent to stay healthy, eat foods that nourish my baby and me, and do all I can to ensure I’m setting him up for success, all the while knowing and trusting that God is ultimately in control of this process that He created.
The most precious and most intimate moments have been when I feel him move around and box around (like his dad). I feel his hiccups and his reaction to my meals, to music and to me! He even kicks when Nigel makes loud funny noises! The precious bond that I have with my son has already begun and I know he can feel that we love him.
This new journey has made us so grateful for the people in our lives. Family truly is the most important thing and starting our own little family is an exciting, and in so many ways overwhelming, notion that is soon becoming a reality for us…but we can’t wait for this next chapter of our life. We can’t wait to meet him, hold him, teach him and love him unconditionally.

This first look at Hug point was perfectly THEM... Their romance, intimate connection mixed with their vibrantly silly, energetic personalities came fully to life. And the best part was their WHOLE entourage peeking over the rock ledge just around the corner couldn`t have been more appropriate for their story. I smlied the whole day watching it all unfold and as I learned about who they truly are: adventurous, Wildly loving, and party animals!!
I cannot believe I haven`t shared more about this day. Danny & Camille fully soaked in their wedding at Hug Point and Cannon Beach, two of the most beautiful locations on the west coast.
Danny & Camille, I love you and your ever expanding love that you have for the people around you. Thank you for sharing it with me.

I was not warned about this day.
Kelley and Voltaire had me in tears by the end of the day. First, I walked in impressed my their decor, hanging flowers throughout the building, and then a wildflower aisle way. What...!? I was in love. That was the first thing I wasn`t expecting. My jaw was on the floor...
But what got me, was how beautiful their stories were, how loving their group was, and how great the connection was between all of the people that surrounded them warmed the space. Dont get me wrong, I`m always impressed with a wedding drenched in amazing artitry by my favorite vendors (shout out to @brightblueevents and @theflowerlab at @calamigosevents), but when I walk out of a wedding seeing the connection that a group has and the unwavering support and unconditional love such a large group can have for each other, I`m left just blown away.
