I have done hundreds of photo shoots at the secret field, over the years, but it never loses its magic. It’s still one of my favorite places to bring my clients. The charm of the location is somewhere between where the sun hits the eucalyptus trees, and the ocean air settling on your skin. There is always magic in the air at the Secret Field.

In the midst of the short time we have to anticipate new life, we experience long days and we can get impatient to be with our new loved ones, but there is so much beauty in the moments that carry us through to all of our destinations
It is easy to think about pregnancy in terms of the past and the future. Often, it feels like everything about that time is focused on your future with a new child. Imagining my future child and their laughter, needs, and personhood, was one of my favorite things about being pregnant. But, pregnancy is also its own beautiful time. I am in love with photographing expecting mothers and experiencing this breathtaking time with them.
