One word: Amazing.
We are so, so happy that we booked Ellie for our micro-wedding during these COVID times. We were pretty stressed out because we canceled our wedding, then a few months later decided to get married on our original date...with about 6 weeks to re-plan everything with a new venue. Although most of our vendors worked with us on the change of plans, our original photographer claimed she was no longer available (and kept our deposit too!) which really added to the frustration and stress.
Then came Sun & Sparrow. I wanted to book them for our original wedding but it was a little out of our budget, but since we changed to a micro-wedding, it was now affordable! Sun and Sparrow were super flexible in working with us and our ridiculous requests two weeks before the wedding (we were worried California would shut down again...or one of us would get COVID the day before...then the fires happened and we were worried our venue would burn down since it was in the Santa Monica Mountains...and of course, we had gotten burned by the other photographer, so once bitten twice shy!).
But thankfully, none of those extreme examples happened. Ellie showed up bright and early, took amazing photos of us and our guests (and did every permutation possible to appease my mother), stayed overtime beyond what we had contracted her for to take MORE photos, made us look PHENOMENAL on a hot day when the two of us were melting in the sun and I was about to collapse from the shoes I failed to break in properly. We got previews very quickly and got our photos about a month later -- all 449 of them, for a short 2 hour wedding with 12 socially distanced guests including our officiant friend. They look natural, dreamy, whimsical, and free -- just the style we wanted. We love them all and have been slowly sharing them with friends and family who couldn't come.
20 out of 10 would recommend again.

I woke up on the morning of my wedding to a text from Tiffani wishing me a happy wedding day and telling me that she couldn’t wait to see me soon. When Sun & Sparrow arrived to my bridal suite, I remember wanting to hop out of my makeup chair to give them a hug.
From the beginning, they were incredibly warm and genuinely invested in us, our love story and helping us craft a wedding day of our dreams. Tiffani would send me wedding inspiration pictures that she knew reflected our personalities and wedding day vision, they helped develop our wedding day timeline and at the end of a long wedding day, they joyfully hopped in our photo booth to take silly pictures with us. It's clear from their work that they capture beautiful images, but it’s their warmth and personal investment in us and our love that make them the best investment we made during our wedding planning process.

From the first phone call to the hug goodbye at the end of the night, Sun and Sparrow felt like family. Every conversation I had with Tiffany was one full of joy. Her attention to detail made everything else fall into place. She always made me feel as if I was her only client, which was so special to me.
When Tiffani arrived the morning of our big day, I instantly felt at ease. She came with a smile, a team and added details for that extra touch to make our photos truly shine. From the moment Tiffani and I spoke, I knew we’d be friends. There is something about her warmth and her energy that makes you feel like the most important bride in the world. Meeting her and her sister Ellie in person solidified our decision in choosing Sun and Sparrow to be a part of our wedding.
It truly makes a difference having photographers invested in YOUR story. It was such a wonderful experience working with Tiffani and Ellie because they not only made us feel comfortable in front of the camera but also excited to see the results. Seeing the sneak peeks after our engagement, and then again after our wedding day made my heart skip a beat!! It’s obvious that these girls are thoughtful about their work, that they dedicate an infinite amount of hours on perfecting their art.
My experience with them, and their work truly inspired me personally. Being a creative myself who was at the time a novice photographer, I quickly became their #1 fan!!
