Yannick & Vivienne

FROM THE BRIDE // Our wedding was located at the Athenaeum in Pasadena. We were really inspired by the architecture of the building and by my dress. We knew wanted to go for a very romantic and vintage feeling to go with the venue. It’s such a gorgeous building that it doesn’t need to be dressed up too much. We let the architecture speak for itself and just highlighted its main features. When we walked down the aisle and said our vows we were so happy and excited. I also like that we kept our vows incredibly short and to the point, we were ready to dance and drink with all of our friends and family! One thing we would definitely suggest to future married couples is to have a first look and to take family photos before the ceremony so you can enjoy your cocktail hour. The first look was amazing because we were so nervous before seeing each other, but once we saw each other all of those nerves just went away. We also liked that the photographers and planner made sure we were alone for our first look. It was nice to have that moment to ourselves without family or friends peering over us.

We chose Sun and Sparrow because we saw the amazing job they did at one of our friends weddings. I will definitely recommend them to anyone else I know who are about to tie the knot. We knew we were in good hands and they made us feel so comfortable the whole day. We knew we wanted the day to be captured so we could cherish the memories forever, and having a photographer we trusted made that day much easier and stress free.

We love being married! It’s been so fun and relaxing. Everyone always asks, do you feel different now that you are married? And honestly, we do. You really feel like you’ve created this team for life and the both of you will do anything now to make the team work. We love it!
