FROM THE BRIDE // Michael and I have been writing our story for many years, our first chapter began in High school and has grown beautifully over the years. We have a beautiful family, with our little girl being our light, always smiling, loving and amazing. With the beginnings of our family, it was clear that it was time to get engaged!
Michael and I decided we needed little vacation time, so, just the two of us, we hopped in the car and headed up north Morro Bay. We stayed in a beautiful hotel on the water front, and enjoyed the coast in all its splendor! We visited the beautiful Hearst castle, watched the sea lions and their pups and strolled along the waters edge hand in hand, fully enjoying the time with one another. On our last night there we got dressed up a bit and went out to a lovely dinner, finished with a delicious desert and a late night walk. We stopped on a dock and enjoyed the fresh air and starlit night for a while, when it was time to head back to our room for the night,Michael grabbed by hand, got down on one knee and asked me marry him! And of course i said yes! We are ready to add another chapter to our wonderful story together!
Its been excitement buzzing while we plan our wedding and enjoy the celebrations with our family and friends!

FROM THE BRIDE // I was in Michigan at my uncle’s wedding on September 24, 2011. The next day, while boarding the plane, I was so stressed. I was the VERY last person to board, so the flight attendant couldn’t find a place for my luggage. By the time I got to my seat at the back of the plane I was out of breath and frustrated. I politely told the two men in my aisle, “that’s my seat (by the window), sorry”.  A young man stood from the middle and said, “no you’re fine!” I hardly noticed him as I scooted by, just wanting to get this flight over with and be home.

However, as I got settled in, I noticed that the kind young man who stood up to let me pass, was actually rather handsome. He caught my eye, asked me my name, and I froze for a moment before responding “Brianna” in a timid voice. For the next two and a half hours from Detroit to Dallas we talked non-stop about everything from our exes, to school, Jesus of course, and what our hopes were for the fuiture, not even knowing yet that we would become each other’s future!

When the pilot announced that we would be starting our descent, we looked at each other in surprise. It was the fastest flight ever! He gave me his number so I could let him know when I had arrived at my next gate safely, and he walked out of the plane. As I collected my luggage and made my way down the jetway, I was reeling. Suddenly, I looked up, and there he was, waiting for me at the end of the jetway! As he hugged me goodbye and I walked to my next gate, I couldn’t stop smiling. I knew that something amazing had just begun.

FROM THE GROOM //  I arrived in California from my home in Dallas a day early without Brianna having any idea. I stayed at her friend Colleen’s house, a mere twenty minutes away. On August 2, 2014, I waited anxiously for her best friend Paige to get her out of the house so I could surprise her by decorating the backyard. I, along with the help of family and friends, lit all the candles and set them up in a path and hung Christmas lights all around the patio to make it a girls dream for her when she drove up. Hearing the car pulling up made my heart race with adrenaline as if I was getting married right at that moment. Then she turned the corner and my beautiful bride to be was standing before me, shocked and smiling from ear to ear with tears in her eyes. In front of her grandparents, parents and other loved ones I asked her if she would join me on this great adventure called life! She said yes! I love her so much and I can’t wait to see her walk down the aisle in that white dress looking as stunning as ever, to be called my wife!! 🙂
