Megan & Hamzah are very special to Sun & Sparrow Photography. We can’t thank them enough for being such a wonderful couple and fabulous friends.
The story behind these two, is that we’ve known Megan for a long time. My husband, Dan, knew Megan way back when they were in high school together. They kept in contact over facebook through the years as friends. One day, as my husband read through his news feed, he noticed that Megan posted, ” Help! Our wedding photographer cancelled on us last minute! Do you know anyone who can help?” Dan casually told me in a conversation, and I immediately jumped on facebook to message her. I was such an eager, young photographer! We messaged back and forth a few times, and she immediately fell in love with our work. The rest is history, and we are so blessed to have been part of their wedding and now continuing on through their lives.
I have to say, that this is one of my favorite, most fun maternity sessions to date. I usually don’t like taking photos at the beach, because there are so many unknown elements to deal with. From the clouds, to wind, children, tides, trash and everything in between. Let me tell you though, this day was a special day. Claudia, from You and Me Photography, and I were so blessed with the beautiful backgrounds, changing lighting, and Megan and Hamzah’s free spirit. They brought paint, changes of clothes, and such a fun attitude. I couldn’t ask for a better client than these two! They are just so fun to work with.
