About Sun & Sparrow

Two sisters, Ellie and Tiffani, started their family-owned photography business to bring out the natural beauty in both people and nature. We are two sisters who just love taking photos. Based in the South Bay and Orange County, mainly in Torrance, we take as many photos as possible.We specialize in weddings, engagements, family, portraits, senior portraits, babies, children, or anything else you can think of. We are willing to travel to you!

One thing that sets us apart as your photographer, is that we want to be your friend. We know that being your wedding and family photographer is not just for a moment, but for a lifetime. Your photos will last forever, and hopefully our friendships will as well! Photography is our passion and our life, so if you know someone who may need photos, please think of us first.We strive to be creative, artistic, and photojournalistic with their photography and videography.

Recently we have added 3 new people to our team. First, I wanted to mention our newest “official” photographer, Jenna. She is one of the sweetest and most down to earth person we have ever met and she is great behind a camera as well. Secondly, we wanted to introduce two brothers, Aaron & Winston. These guys are specialists in the art of film have banded together with us to complete our wedding photo-video force. We are so excited to announce their arrival as part of our team! We will be posting more about them on our site very soon.

Hi, I’m Ellie! I have been a photographer for many years. From a young age, I have had an interest photography. But it hasn’t been until recently that photography has become my life. I started with only a point-and-shoot camera, believe it or not. Within one week of posting my photos online, I was asked by friends and family for photo sessions. Elated, I said, ‘yes’ to every inquiry. But the more and more inquiries that came in, the more I thought, ‘I should turn this into a business!’ Through the years, I feel that I have only begun to grow professionally and personally.”Every session that I take, I grow and shape myself as an artist!

I believe that as dancer and a photographer, that every shoot must be unique to each client. I love to show personality and the special love that people have for one another. I love to produce the best photographs, the best lighting, and the most astounding editing to create, not only photographs, but human stories that will carry on for generations.

Hi there! I’m Tiffani!

I always had an interested in art and music. Throughout my childhood, I constantly had photo sessions with wind up cameras, gathering any willing victim to be photographed. I graduated from Long Beach State University in 2007with the intention to be a Publicist, but moving into from college to a stuffy workplace was not what I had imagined.

Luckily, I had the idea to work for my friends, helping them find their voice in design and photography. I began to design websites and albums for all my musician friends, helping them create campaigns for their releases. The designs led to photo sessions, the photo sessions lead to starting a business with my sister, Ellie. I am so blessed to have been able to run two busiensses; one that helps artists and churches have awesome artwork, and the other that lets me capture the beauty and love that people have for one another.
